From the beginning of time, people have come together with sacred movement and song to celebrate seasonal ceremony, life passages and daily renewal. The Dances of Universal Peace are part of this timeless tradition. Sacred phrases are repeated to the accompaniment of live music and simple movements. This embodiment of the sacred phrase evokes feelings of peace, joy and love.

Ms. Sharonne is a Certified Dance Leader. She has led Dances at the Omega Institute, Southern Dharma Retreat Center and other retreat centers. She is often invited to be a guest Dance Leader at retreats in the region. Akal Dev founded and has been leading the Boone Dance Circle since 1998. Her Dance circles are joyous and deep. Participants are guided to create a spiritual community by connecting to one another on a level that goes beyond the outer trappings of personality and ego.
